Slight drier air tonight will bring clear skies, but slightly colder
temperatures that will fall into the lower 20s by morning. Winds should
diminish pretty rapidly this evening.
On Thursday, a storm approaching from the south will bring afternoon clouds
after some morning sunshine. Rain should spread from south to north across the
region by late afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the lower 40s. Rain will
continue on Thursday night with fog developing.
On Friday, clouds and fog will remain, but rain should gradually end. High
temperatures will reach the upper 40s to around 50 degrees, flirting with the
record high temperature of 53 set just last year.
For the weekend, a cold front will move through on Saturday, bringing an end to
the mild weather and causing temperatures to fall in the afternoon. Some snow
showers or flurries are possible later Saturday night into Sunday morning as a
weather system passes to our south. Otherwise, expect near-normal temperatures
from Sunday through Wednesday of next week. Some snow showers are possible by
late Wednesday afternoon.
